Myota feeds the guts microbiomes that in turn help nourish us. Myota is founded by scientists, not just ‘science backed’. But because Myota’s creators are scientists, it struggled with communication and how to tell people what they did in a simple, digestible and characterful way.
The design strategy of ‘human-centric science’ and the design thought ‘power what powers you’ lead to a dynamic logo and typographic identity based on the guts Myota takes care of. Married to a simple, nuanced packaging and activation the brands efficacy also feels aspirational.
Sales since the redesign have increased sevenfold and press, influencer and retail interest has shot up. That’s a healthy return.
