Design Thought

Red Red Superstews offered a more interesting way to spend your lunch money. ‘Inspired by Africa, remixed by London’ we created a brand and design campaign to support their launch using a raft of brilliant talent and a bold irreverent design spirit.

That talent was itself a brilliant cultural stew: Illustrations less ordinary were created by Nigerian mixed-media artist Dennis Osadebe, Yinka Ilori created furniture and a pop up with Counterfeit Studio, Mat Maitland shot the funky film,  photography was by Patrice de Villiers, with styling from fashion designer Samson Soboye.

Listings in Sainsbury’s and Whole Foods.

Its relatively minnow status meant Unilever didnt want to pursue it beyond pilot, and i think it could be argued it was a great little brand born just a little ahead of its time.

For me the best result was seeing so much talent all collaborating so brilliantly.
